Digital Asset is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its legal team in New York, shaping the function as the company scales. This role covers commercial transactions, M&A, securities, product and regulatory counseling, and corporate matters.

You will work directly with executives and the board, lead high-value contract negotiations, build scalable contract infrastructure, support growth initiatives, and mentor cross-functional teams on risk and legal processes.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school.
• Active New York Bar admission or eligibility to waive in.
• 4–8 years of corporate experience at a leading law firm or fintech/tech company.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations for high-value agreements.
• Build scalable contract infrastructure.
• Support M&A activity.
• Manage strategic investments and corporate governance matters.
• Provide regulatory counsel across product and business functions.
• Mentor non-legal teams on risk frameworks and legal processes.
