Job summary

Range is seeking an Associate General Counsel to own a broad range of legal issues, including contracts, regulatory matters, and transactional work. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you’ll be the day-to-day legal partner for business teams and help move agreements quickly in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (VA, DC, or MD preferred).
• 3+ years of post-JD experience, incl. in-house at tech/fintech or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor, SaaS, technology, and NDAs.
• Move contracts through full lifecycle and develop templates/playbooks.
• Partner with compliance on regulatory matters affecting investment adviser/broker-dealer businesses.
