Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to join our team in Des Moines. This leadership role reports to the Director of PM and focuses on driving growth, client management, and successful service delivery across real estate and infrastructure programs.

You will lead bid teams, manage senior client relationships, and mentor staff while ensuring project margins, timely invoicing, and cross-functional collaboration with our US-wide offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Experience managing client accounts and leading project teams.
• Experience with program and portfolio management in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Project Management in client relationship management and growth.
• Lead bid teams and coordinate proposals with senior management.
• Present service offerings at client interviews and lead project staffing updates.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to project staff.
• Manage project financials including margins and resource forecasts.
• Coordinate with municipal authorities and oversee neighborhood infrastructure programs.
