Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to support the Director of Project Management in driving growth and profitability of the business unit through leadership, client management and service delivery.

In this role, you will lead bid teams, attend client interviews, mentor staff, manage project finances, and develop new business opportunities across the U.S., delivering complex infrastructure programs for our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in a project management role in the construction industry.
• Experience managing client accounts and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of PM in managing client relationships, driving new revenue and contract renewals.
• Lead bid teams and proposal generation.
• Attend client interviews to present offerings.
• Support PM Director by interviewing prospective candidates.
• Provide weekly updates on projects, initiatives and staffing.
• Provide effective line management, coaching and mentoring.
• Financial management: track margins, forecasts and reports.
• Ensure client invoices are accurate and timely.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across the U.S.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations on relevant experience and knowledge.
• Attend relevant networking events and promotional opportunities.
• Lead small PM team delivering infrastructure projects on corporate campuses.
• Program management of neighborhood infrastructure projects; oversight of PMs from other companies.
• Liaison with municipal authorities.
