Job summary

Merck seeks an Associate Director of Global Learning & Development for the Oncology Business Unit to advance critical capabilities and drive business results. You will translate business goals into learning strategies, lead design and delivery, and build sponsorship across functions.

You will partner with HR and regional teams to ensure aligned learning plans, measure impact with metrics, and coach local teams to scale solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Combination of experience in facilitating/delivering learning solutions, sales and/or relevant pharmaceutical/oncology experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for the Oncology Business Leaders.
Align business leaders on implications of decisions on learning and development outcomes.
Develop depth of business understanding to maximize relevance and impact on outcomes.
Determine learning strategies based on identified needs and gaps.
Prioritize and manage portfolio of work and Learner Experience.
Provide input to curriculum design and development for learner experiences.
Collaborate with HR to integrate learning solutions with talent initiatives.
Deliver training and support local SMEs.
Measure and report impact of learning programs against metrics.
