Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director of Global Learning & Development to act as a trusted advisor to Oncology Leaders, translating business priorities into effective learning strategies and solutions. You will oversee design and delivery through internal and external partners, driving impact across the organization and partnering with HR on talent initiatives.

The role focuses on developing capabilities, managing a portfolio of learning initiatives, and delivering modern, engaging learner

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Combination of experience in facilitating / delivering learning solutions, sales and/or relevant pharmaceutical/oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business advisor to Oncology Leaders and stakeholders.
• Align learning strategies with business goals and gaps.
• Develop learning plans and prioritize portfolio of work across GL&D.
• Provide input to curriculum design and learner experience.
• Collaborate with HR to integrate learning with talent initiatives.
• Deliver training or support local SMEs as needed.
• Measure impact of learning programs against metrics.
