Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director of Global Learning & Development in the Oncology unit to advise business leaders and translate business goals into scalable learning strategies. You will oversee design and delivery through internal and external partners, delivering high-impact learner experiences aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Combination of experience in facilitating / delivering learning solutions, sales and/or relevant pharmaceutical/oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for the Oncology Business Leaders.
• Align business leaders on the implications of decisions on employee learning and development.
• Develop depth of business understanding to maximize impact on business outcomes.
• Determine learning strategies and plans based on identified needs and gaps.
• Prioritize and manage portfolio of work and Learner Experience.
• Create line of sight for divisional clients into L&D plans and resources.
• Provide input to curriculum design and development for learner experiences.
• Collaborate with HR business partners to integrate learning solutions with talent initiatives.
• Deliver training and support local SMEs providing training as needed.
• Partner with the business to define outcomes and measure impact of learning programs.
• Ensure coordinated L&D planning and implementation.
• Deliver or facilitate training content and coach local L&D staff.
• Ensure accurate forecasts and project risk management.
