Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Global Learning & Development to drive oncology learning initiatives, translating business goals into strategic learning programs. You will lead a network of designers and SMEs to deliver modern learning experiences that accelerate capability development.

The role requires building strong stakeholder relationships, driving sponsorship, and using data to continuously improve learner outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; Master's preferred.
• Experience in facilitating and delivering learning solutions, with oncology exposure a plus.
• Strong background in adult learning, training design and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Advise business leaders on L&D strategy aligned to oncology priorities.
• Develop learning plans addressing identified gaps and business needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and deliver learning experiences.
• Oversee curriculum design, learner experience, and impact measurement.
• Coordinate with HR and business leads to integrate learning with talent initiatives.
• Measure program impact using defined metrics and data analytics.
