Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director in Global Learning & Development to partner with Oncology leaders, shaping learning strategies that advance business outcomes. Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Combination of experience in facilitating / delivering learning solutions, sales and/or relevant pharmaceutical/oncology experience.
• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for the Oncology Business Leaders.
• Align business leaders on implications of decisions for employee learning and development.
• Develop depth of business understanding to maximize relevance and impact on outcomes.
• Determine learning strategies based on identified needs and gaps; collaborate with GL&D and external partners.
• Prioritize and manage portfolio of work and Learner Experience; align with GL&D.
• Create line of sight for divisional clients into L&D plans and resources; build sponsorship.
• Provide input to curriculum design and development for learner experiences.
• Collaborate with HR partners to integrate learning with talent initiatives.
• Deliver training and/or support local SMEs providing training as needed.
• Measure and report impact of learning programs; use data insights to improve solutions.
• Ensure coherent, efficient, and strategically aligned L&D planning and implementation.
• Deliver or facilitate training content; coach local L&D colleagues or SMEs.
