Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• At least three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years in a higher education environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan
   • Collaborate with university stakeholders, maintain project plans and timelines to meet regulatory goals.
   • Complete annual compliance activities to support strategic priorities.
   • Audit programs and locations for compliance with academic standards.
   • Identify vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance and communicate concerns to the AVP of Academic Compliance.
   • Prepare applications and reports for regulatory bodies accurately and timely.
   • Coordinate with leadership to ensure advisory board meetings are documented properly.
2. Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards
   • Keep updated on accreditation standards and develop resources to navigate regional differences.
   • Document standards variations and deadlines across locations and programs.
   • Respond to research requests on regulatory requirements.
   • Maintain records and training materials on MyHerzing.
3. Manage regulatory reporting projects
   • Oversee project timelines and quality assurance for reporting.
   • Collaborate on accreditation submissions with faculty and staff.
   • Review standards and advise leadership on compliance opportunities.
   • Provide regular updates on project status.
4. Ensure readiness for regulatory visits and meetings
   • Conduct mock visits and maintain visit preparation resources.
   • Prepare leaders for regulatory presentations.
   • Represent the compliance team during visits and support logistical needs.
5. Support strategic growth of the University
   • Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs.
   • Participate in strategic discussions and represent the university externally.
   • Advise on accreditation processes for new initiatives.
   • Assist with clinical development collaborations for new programs.
   • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Up to 30% travel expected
• Remain stationary for periods and move around campus or clinical settings as needed
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and colleagues
• Operate relevant equipment and technology
