Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• At least three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• At least five years of experience in higher education

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Execute academic compliance initiatives in alignment with the University Strategic Plan
   • Collaborate with university constituents, maintain project plans and timelines to achieve regulatory initiatives.
   • Complete annual compliance activities to meet strategic priorities.
   • Audit programs and locations to ensure readiness and compliance with standards.
   • Assess vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, reporting concerns to AVP of Academic Compliance.
   • Complete applications and reports for regulatory entities accurately and timely.
   • Coordinate with leadership for advisory board meetings and documentation.
2. Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards
   • Keep up-to-date repositories of accreditation standards and procedures.
   • Develop resources to navigate varying standards across regions and programs.
   • Maintain documentation, project plans, and records of submission deadlines.
   • Provide training on regulatory standards to university constituents.
3. Manage regulatory reporting projects
   • Manage timelines, support, and quality assurance for reporting objectives.
   • Collaborate on accreditation and regulatory submissions.
   • Review standards and advise leadership on opportunities for compliance improvement.
   • Communicate project status and needs assessments to leadership.
4. Prepare for regulatory visits and meetings
   • Conduct mock visits and maintain visit readiness resources.
   • Prepare leaders for regulatory presentations and visits.
   • Represent the compliance team during visits and meetings.
   • Support site visitors with logistics and accommodations.
5. Support strategic growth of the university
   • Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs.
   • Participate in strategic calls for new programs or discontinuations.
   • Represent the university with external regulatory bodies.
   • Collaborate on accreditation for new programs and markets.
   • Advise on approval processes and timelines.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Up to 30% travel required.
• Remain stationary most of the time; move around as needed.
• Operate equipment and communicate effectively.
