Job summary

JLL in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a proactive Associate Broker trainee to support senior brokers in business development, presentation prep, and client materials. You will participate in a 10-week JLLU training program and travel for property showings across the NY Metro area.

Your role includes developing market research, preparing lease comparisons, and assisting in negotiation and documentation throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 0–4+ years of commercial real estate or B2B sales experience required.
• Track record of business development and sales performance.
• Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into strategic deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Attend training program and develop as an Associate Broker.
• Assist senior brokers with business development activities and lead outreach.
• Prepare property summaries and new business presentations.
• Create client materials such as lease comparisons and market overviews.
• Shadow senior brokers in negotiation, evaluation and docs.
• Provide market and industry information to clients and manage prospects.
• Conduct property showings and client meetings; travel across NY Metro area.
• Support local market research requests and quarterly market decks.
• Review financial models, cash flow projections and valuations.
