Total Wine & More in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and creating a distinctive world of adult beverages for customers.

You will drive sales, lead a team, handle payroll, inventory and merchandising, maintain compliance with alcohol laws, build vendor relationships, and report to the Store Manager. This position requires flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team; develop product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink; ensure accurate POS data.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to alcohol laws and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
