Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Mint Hill, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and operations. You will lead the store team during shifts and on busy periods, ensuring top-notch customer service and proper training.

Fluency in Spanish is highly desired, and you will assist in hiring, scheduling, and executing store programs while upholding company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desirable Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist store manager in setting goals, coaching, and training team members.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting tasks and interviewing candidates.
• Answer telephone according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Manage outside purchase orders and special orders efficiently.
• Process returns, refunds, and exchanges promptly and properly.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure compliance with schedules and timekeeping; secure premises.
• Assist in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage, hardware, service equipment, and vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
