Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining a high standard of store appearance and operations. The role involves leading a team, coaching staff, and handling hiring tasks while ensuring smooth daily functions.

Fluency in Spanish is highly desired, and the candidate will work to meet performance targets, manage shifts, and participate in the store’s ongoing training

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring training compliance.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely.
• Ensure retail returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before products leave the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
