Job summary

Johnny’s Markets in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations and ensure a friendly, safe shopping environment across shifts. You’ll supervise staff, train team members, schedule, and ensure HR policies are followed while delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll also manage store appearance, partnerships with suppliers, and daily bookwork, with a focus on maximizing sales and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and train staff while following HR policies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must have valid drivers license and own vehicle.
• Ability to work second and third shifts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
