Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a knowledgeable team, and manage daily operations in Alexandria. You will recruit, train, and develop staff while ensuring exceptional customer service and a compliant, efficient store environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, and comfort with POS and inventory software. Evenings/weekends flexibility is needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience; 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team with development.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink control.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and foster a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with laws and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
