Job summary

Total Wine & More in Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and uphold best-in-class customer service in a vibrant retail environment.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage payroll, inventory, and merchandising, and build vendor relationships to support store objectives. This role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, and is based on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of work experience; 2+ years in a supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading sales-focused teams.
• Familiar with POS systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team and development.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws/regulations for alcohol sales and safety.
