Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards.
• Maintain inventory movement and customer trend reporting for Store Manager.
• Ensure extraordinary customer service per manual and assist customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards across manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information, flag fraud risks to management.
