Job summary

The R301US Hibbett Retail, Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager to support store operations in Elkin, NC. You will work with the Store Manager to drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold company standards and visual guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-player with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability across departments.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain extraordinary customer service as outlined in the manuals.
• Produce and deliver outstanding customer service highlighted in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by ensuring effective internal controls.
