Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a team and keep up with goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Consult with Store Manager on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Possess supervisory responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Participate in recruitment, training, and evaluation of personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department goals and standards, reporting inventory movements and trends.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per policy manuals and standards.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Protect assets and financial information, flag fraud risks.
