Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise handling, and maintaining compliant, friendly sales floors.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the training of Store Associates in a high-energy environment. Part-time hours and in-store responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards and ensure displays are current.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
