Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, and coordinating to ensure a clean, well-stocked store that reflects company standards.

You will mentor Store Associates, uphold safety policies, handle payroll and scheduling tasks, and interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner. This role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and ensure store areas meet company standards.
• Assist in ordering, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
