Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure orderly merchandising and seasonal areas.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, following directives, maintaining records, and supporting store associates to deliver a high-energy, friendly shopping experience. Part-time position in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and maintain store operations records (payroll, scheduling, deposits).
• Maintain appealing storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
