Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a dynamic retail environment.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise from delivery, and ensure areas are clean, stocked, and promotional displays are effective. The role involves supervising store associates, supporting opening/closing procedures, and helping with payroll and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Experience in store operations and customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.
• Candidate should be capable of supervising and coaching store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store functions and open/close procedures.
• Help customers with questions and provide positive service.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and payroll/scheduling tasks.
• Protect store assets and cash; follow company policies.
