Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, and train Store Associates while maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will manage opening/closing procedures, handle merchandise, and ensure adherence to safety and company policies. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and loss prevention in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and related store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
