Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an experienced retail leader to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and to lead Team Members in the absence of the Store Manager. The role focuses on delivering a safe, profitable environment, promoting excellent customer service, and driving sales through merchandising and team development.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, and a preference for those with pet knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Experience with pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in Store Operations, driving sales, planning and delegating daily tasks.
• Lead store team members in the Store Manager’s absence (PTO/LOA).
• Order live goods and store supplies and train Team Leaders in receiving process.
• Drive sales and profitability through top-line growth and merchandising initiatives.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and ensure safety of Team Members and customers.
