Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a dedicated team member to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in executing operational, sales, and merchandising objectives while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role emphasizes maintaining a safe work environment, training Team Members, and providing top-notch service to customers and vendors, including care for live animals and overall store operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or live animal knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Regardless of education level, team members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends and overtime.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Assist customers and promote selling initiatives (TEAM).
• Perform merchandising, opening/closing, cash handling, and loss prevention tasks.
• Handle live animals including care and habitat maintenance.
