Job summary

Tractor Supply Company, Petsense division, is seeking a Team Lead to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering outstanding service, merchandising, and store operations. You will lead team members, ensure safe animal care, and promote a positive work environment.

This role requires flexible hours, ability to train staff, handle cash, assist customers, and manage live animals where applicable.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, read/write/count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and be available for varied shifts including nights and weekends.
• Promote a safe, productive work environment and train Team Members on policies/procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive experience.
• Care for live animals and maintain holding tanks as required.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and communicate with Team Members on duties and goals.
