Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and lead a team to deliver friendly service.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position is at our Danvers, MA location with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and protect assets.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
