Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and supervise associates to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and responsibility for inventory, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while ensuring adherence to company policies and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret and explain directives.
• Retail store management experience preferred in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties; frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
