Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development at the Danvers, MA location. You will assist with merchandise flow, open/close procedures, and ensure a clean, safe store environment while upholding company policies and standards.

The role calls for strong communication and leadership to train and guide Store Associates in a fast-paced retail setting. Great for growth within a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates alongside the Store Manager.
• Maintain store cleanliness, security, and adherence to policies.
