Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help supervise daily functions, train associates, and ensure excellent store presentation.

In this role you’ll organize merchandise, assist in payroll and scheduling, and uphold loss prevention and safety standards while maintaining a friendly, high-energy environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention and safety policies.
• Train and develop store associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
