Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Walker, MI seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will lead the team during shifts and manage the store in the manager's absence, driving service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Required certifications: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels and execute service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Assist in staffing during peak hours and ensuring proper scheduling.
• Support hiring by recruiting tasks, interviews, and candidate evaluation.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders timely and correctly.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed friendly and refunds issued accurately.
• Perform opening/closing duties, money handling, and security procedures.
• Maintain store appearance, signage, equipment, and deliveries.
