O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and operations. The role will lead the team during absence or opposing shifts, ensuring excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom with team execution of service programs.
• Coordinate staffing for peak retail hours to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist the store manager with setting goals, providing feedback, coaching, and training updates.
• Assist in hiring tasks, interviewing, and collaboration to select qualified team members.
• Ensure all calls are answered per company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store orders, transfers, and DC add orders with timely communication to customers.
• Oversee outside orders and special purchases; handle returns and refunds accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and that policies are followed.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out processes by team members.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, secure deposits, and safeguard the store at night.
• Maintain store building, parking lot, signage/lighting, equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
