Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Michigan, Southgate, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations. You will lead the team in servicing customers and manage the store when the Manager is absent, including peak hours.

Qualifications

• Retail sales leadership experience and customer service focus.
• Experience leading and coaching a store team.
• Experience in scheduling and interviewing candidates.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish a plus) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the showroom and ensure staff execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Assist in staffing the retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Support in setting team goals, provide feedback, coach and mentor team members.
• Assist in recruitment tasks and interviews, partnering with management to select qualified staff.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipments.
