Job summary

Roses Express in Raleigh, NC seeks an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and help oversee daily store operations under the Store Manager.

You'll participate in hiring and training, manage open/close procedures, protect assets, ensure policy compliance, and lead hourly team members to meet company goals in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time role requiring weekend availability and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store staff under the Store Manager.
• Assist with day-to-day store operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure asset protection and accurate handling of cash and store records.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers and employees.
• Manage stockroom and sales floor to company standards, including recovery and merchandising.
