Job summary

Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores in Dunn, NC, providing essential products at great values to the communities we serve. The Assistant Manager/Key Carrier will deliver excellent customer service and help the Store Manager oversee daily operations to meet company goals.

You will participate in hiring, training, and supervising team members, handle opening and closing duties, safeguard assets, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise up to 50lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a high energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
