Job summary

Roses/Roses Express is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to provide excellent customer service and assist the Store Manager with the overall operation of the Walkertown, NC store. You will help hire, train, and develop team members and ensure daily store functions run smoothly.

Responsibilities include opening/closing in the manager's absence, safeguarding assets, maintaining store standards, and directing hourly staff when the Store Manager is away.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible full- or part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store team members.
• Support Store Manager with daily operations and meeting company deliverables.
• Open and close procedures in the manager's absence.
• Protect assets and cash; ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, professional store environment and stockroom organization.
• Direct hourly Team Members when Store Manager is away.
• Assist with merchandise receipt, freight flow, and stock replenishment.
