Job summary

Roses Express in Laurinburg, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager with daily store operations. You will help hire, train, and develop staff while ensuring policies are followed and assets are protected.

Responsibilities include opening/closing in the manager's absence, supervising hourly team members, and maintaining stockroom and sales floor standards. A flexible full- or part-time schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Support store operations and day-to-day activities as directed by Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the manager's absence.
• Protect company assets, including cash, and adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Direct hourly Team Members in the Store Manager's absence.
