Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help drive growth and ensure store leadership and operations run smoothly.

You will recruit and coach staff, set clear performance goals, and lead the team to meet sales targets while maintaining our brand standards and product knowledge. This role emphasizes the customer‑first approach and daily execution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer‑first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer‑focused selling culture.
• Effective communication and coaching skills.
• Able to work peak days and varied shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce performance expectations and goals.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed to address customer experience and operations.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to support action plans and execution.
• Implement floorset direction to showcase product stories.
• Perform opening/closing routines including deposits and shipments.
• Lead daily goals and provide feedback to managers.
• Meet payroll targets with appropriate sales floor coverage.
• Demonstrate selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers and make personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Maintain safety, store standards, and policies.
