Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving growth across the store. You will lead with brand standards and a customer-first approach to elevate selling and service.

As a frontline leader, you will manage performance, schedule coverage, and ensure payroll targets while maintaining a selling focus and strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail.
• Customer-focused selling culture and strong communication.
• Ability to coach associates and de-escalate store and customer situations.
• Availability for peak days and varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations and goals with all associates.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled to handle customer experience, vendor relations, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and effective execution of operations.
• Lead floorset direction to optimize the business and tell the product story.
