Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional customer experiences across the store. You will help drive growth, lead by example on the sales floor, and ensure operational excellence in daily store activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Ability to coach and de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Must be available to work peak days and varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring product storytelling to life.
• Manage opening/closing routines, deposits, shipments, and dissemination of company directives.
• Set daily direction and goals for the team as shifts begin.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage with a selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in values and product knowledge.
• Build genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs and personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
