Job summary

Roses Express is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier in Laurens, SC. You will support the Store Manager with operations, hire/train staff, and ensure excellent customer service while safeguarding assets.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, directing hourly team members in the absence of the Store Manager, stocking and merchandising, and meeting productivity standards. This role requires flexibility, weekend work, and a storewide safety focus.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Support Store Manager with day-to-day operations and store functions.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and safety guidelines.
• Direct hourly Team Members in the Store Manager's absence.
• Manage freight flow and stock replenishment.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards and merchandise stocking.
