Job summary

Roses Discount Stor in Monroe, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to help run daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service.

You will assist the Store Manager in hiring, training and supervising the store team, opening/closing procedures, and protecting assets while ensuring a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom. Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs; frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Able to perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist the Store Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
