Job summary

Roses Express is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager in daily operations at our North Wilkesboro location. You will help hire, train, and develop staff, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure store assets are safeguarded.

The role requires flexibility for full-time or part-time hours, including evenings and weekends, with opportunities to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform lifting, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending as needed.
• Work in a high energy, team environment.
• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with day-to-day store activities and opening/closing procedures when needed.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure stockroom and sales floor meet company standards and recover as needed.
• Direct hourly Team Members in the Store Manager's absence and process corporate directives.
