Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Shakopee, MN seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts.

The Assistant Manager will lead the store team members in servicing customers, hire and train staff, and ensure policies, schedules, and deposits are handled according to company standards.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, coaching, and ensuring training.
• Assist in the hiring process and interviewing to select qualified team members.
• Ensure all store processes (returns, transfers, orders) are handled efficiently and accurately.
