O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Mankato, Minnesota. You will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and you may lead the team during absence or opposing shifts.

The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service and efficient store leadership. The position requires coordinating staffing, coaching team members, and assisting in the hiring process, with bilingual candidates explicitly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and making sure team members are staying current on their training.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
