Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Northfield, MN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. You will lead a team, help with staffing and training, and ensure procedures are followed during peak hours.

You will be responsible for coaching team members, handling returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and safe opening/closing procedures that protect store assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum certifications: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
• Retail leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Ensure staffing at the sales counter during peak hours and coach team members.
• Assist the store manager in goal setting, feedback, and training.
• Process returns, exchanges, and invoices per policy and handle transfers efficiently.
• Oversee store opening/closing duties and compliance with company policies.
