Job summary

Big Lots is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier in Eynon, PA to support the Store Manager and deliver excellent customer service. You will help hire and train staff, manage daily operations, and ensure store assets and cash are protected.

The role requires flexibility to work diverse shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on driving productivity and store performance.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active store duties

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members.
• Support Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protect company assets and cash handling
• Maintain a professional environment for customers and staff
• Ensure stockroom and sales floor meet company standards
